2018 - 2022 : treatment of contaminated soil, edf, french guyana

Le Floch Dépollution was awarded in April 2018 the treatment of FOD-contaminated soils following accidental spills located at the Dégrad-des-Canne and Kourou thermal power plants. 

DEGRAD-DES-CANNES

The estimated volumes of polluted soil to be treated were 1,800 m3. The work began in June 2018 and was completed in January 2019 for the Dégrad-des-Cannes site. Approximately 70% of the soil was treated biologically, the rest was treated with calcium oxide.

KOUROU

The soils contaminated by hydrocarbons were treated biologically. We used the biopile technique (use of micro-organisms to degrade organic compounds).
