The BALEAR anti-pollution boom can be use for the control of hydrocarbon and macro-waste pollution. It can be used offshore, in open coastal waters, estuaries, rivers and port zones even in winds up to force 3 on the Beaufort scale. The boom is constructed from strong PVC fabric .
The boom is self-floating, and requires no inflation equipment. Its multi-cellular structure ensures an excellent response to swells and waves.
This boom has been specially designed for the retention of hydrocarbon slicks in port zones and coastal areas. Its effectiveness is fully-guaranteed, even in winds up to force 3 on the Beaufort scale.
