At the beginning of February, we installed 240 meters of barriers at Anse Champagne, in Saint-François, Guadeloupe. These barriers, used as part of the sargassum control efforts, are designed to divert the algae and protect the areas near the installations.

Once the areas are protected by the barriers, the algae no longer wash ashore, making manual screening operations unnecessary. The goal is to redirect the algae towards a collection point, where other types of equipment will be used for further management
